We take a deep dive into the what, how, and why of deforestation in Canada and the impacts of the forestry industry on wildlife and natural ecosystems. Whether it be government policies for combating destructive deforestation or the unique impacts on different wildlife, our site has it covered!
Each group member has selected a particular subtopic which relates to deforestation. Our topics include government policies and conservation efforts surrounding deforestation, the endangerment of the Northern Spotted Owl, Indigenous Land Stewardship, the impact of logging on carbon emissions, and the impact of deforestation on the economy in Canada.
